Cookie Policy

Effective February 1, 2026 · Last updated February 1, 2026

This policy explains the cookies, pixels, and browser-storage entries used on wendys-menus.us, what each one does, and how to turn them off. It is a companion to our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website places in your browser so the site can remember something about your visit (a preference, a session, an analytics identifier). We also use browser-native storage such as localStorage, which is functionally similar. Throughout this page, we use “cookies” to refer to both.

2. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary , required to render the Site and secure forms. Cannot be turned off from within the Site, but can be blocked in your browser.
  • Preferences , remember choices such as light or dark mode.
  • Analytics , measure aggregate readership; no individual profile is built.
  • Advertising , set only on pages where advertising is served. Third-party.

4. How to opt out

All cookies. Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. If you disable strictly-necessary cookies, some form submissions and layout preferences may not work correctly, but you can still read every article.

Analytics only. Enable Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser, or install a tracker-blocking extension such as uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger. We honor these signals for analytics.

Advertising only. Opt out of personalized advertising industry-wide at aboutads.info/choices (United States) or youronlinechoices.eu (European Union). Google-specific ad settings are at adssettings.google.com.

5. Global Privacy Control

When your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law, and we disable personalized advertising cookies for that session.

6. Changes to this policy

When we add, remove, or change the purpose of a cookie, we update the table above and the “Last updated” date at the top of the page.
